In the southernmost part of Santorini, next to the Lighthouse, is the GIORGAROS fish tavern. Grandpa GIORGAROS used to go fishing with his sons and now the tradition continues from the sons together with his grandsons to have daily fresh fish, whole live lobsters, small shrimp, etc. in their fish tavern. Mama Maria cooks dad Andrea and his son George’s fish, such as lobster pasta, fish soup, shrimp pasta, fava beans, shrimp, fragrant tomato meatballs, white eggplant, Santorini squash, fresh potatoes, fried and grilled fish. Daughters Anthoula, Haroula and Roussa will serve you willingly and give you information about fishing and fish, but also about the history of Santorini. In the interior you will see the first boat of grandfather GIORGAROS, tails of skates, dogfish, fins, shells, sponges and more. It overlooks the caldera with the wonderful and famous sunset of Santorini, which can be seen from the interior and exterior of the fish tavern.
