Abreuvoir first opened on 18 March 1965.
Alexis Kotsis and his wife Gianna thought of opening a French restaurant in the beautiful district of Athens, Kolonaki.
A specialist in French cuisine, which he had learned and practiced in France, Alexis Kotsis soon saw his restaurant become the favourite meeting place of the capital’s gourmets, friends of good wine, as well as the chosen restaurant for business and friendly meals.
Over the years, what was considered a novelty in 1965, slowly turned into a solid tradition, a tradition of quality, service, and a pleasant atmosphere. The Abreuvoir’s menu – equal to the world’s finest restaurants – has never ceased to propose new specialities to the delight of its friends.
Spyros and Claire, the children of Alexis Kotsi, are now leading Abreuvoir to new successes, with the sole desire to satisfy their loyal customers.
