The place where you are enjoying your coffee, drink, lunch or dinner constitutes a part of the history of Crete.
As you all know, Crete was under the Turkish Occupation for 400 years. According to documents dating back to the 8th of February 1926, this corner’ was bought by our grandfather from Sakir Bay’s mother, Esnas Hanoum, the wife of Faruk Bay Aghazadeh. In 1926, it was the French Post Office building. Later, around 1957, our grandfather turned it into a caf£, which, as said by the old ones, became the meeting point of outstanding people coming from all over the world. Today we try to be worthy of the legacy that was left to us by those who are now gone.
With the promise to preserve the tradition, values and delicacies inherited from old times.
